Blue interlaced Ls enclosing date letter R for 1770, painter's mark for Evans, the cup incised 41, the saucer incised 3
Each painted in colors with a bird in a landscape reserved within gilt ciselé bands on the ground painted in lavender with a scale-pattern and enriched in bleu celéste in imitation of peacock feathers
