Lot Essay

A perfume bottle with ormolu foot and raised neck, but almost certainly executed in the same workshop as these was in the apartment of Empress Maria Feodorovna at Tsarsköe Selo (G.-K. Loukomski, Mobilier & Décoration des Anciens Palais Impériaux Russes, Paris, 1928, plate LIX).
