The square top with octagonal reserve cornered by spandrals inscribed Scarso don di te minore/Per te' grande di verra/Se i pensior che vogli in core., a second E dell'opera altero io pure/E a te ognor piu grato a noro/Se fra i strudi e l'alte cure/Un pensier da te Ottero., a third Bello e avere in monte acculte(?)/Gran tarsoro di saper/Ma piu, bello aler rivolto/A Bell' opre il buon voler., and the fourth Gia de saggi a te dovuto/Non t'e novo il giusto on or/Ma piu tenero tributo/Mai non ebee il tuo belcor., the oval reserve to the middle containing a rectangular landscape scene with a castle set in a rocky hillside, flanked by fan-spandrals, above a panelled frieze-drawer and tapering square legs, with a printed paper label EUGENIO QUARTI MILANO/VIA G.../MOBILI ARTICI/..., with old ink inscriptions to drawer bottom
