The Ron Burgess Britains Collection Ron Burgess worked for Britains Ltd for 29 years from 1961. He followed in the illustrious footsteps of his father Harry, who joined Britains in the 1920s at the age of 15 and stayed for 51 years - a remarkable family record. This collection was primarily accumulated from ex-factory stock by Harry Burgess. After leaving Britains, Ron Burgess set up Euro-Mouldings, carrying out sub-contract work for Britains, until production moved to China. He also did work for Charlie Biggs at Premier Models.
