A GEORGE II WALNUT AND ASH SECRETAIRE KNEEHOLE DESK
Mid-18th century, the top reveneered, the line and fan decoration probably of a later date
The rounded rectangular featherbanded top with fan inlaid corners, above a frieze secretaire drawer enclosing a fitted interior with a brown tooled-leather writing surface above a kneehole drawer and door within the recess, flanked on either side by three drawers on bracket feet, with featherbanding and fan inlay throughout, rebacked, the front feet replaced, the kneehole drawer later
32in. (81.5cm.) high, 32¾i. (83cm.) wide, 19¼in. (49cm.) deep
