Ottoman Turkey, circa 1620
With wide flat rim on short foot, the interior with central green roundel containing reserved white interlaced arabesques with blue and red highlights, the broad rim with similarly coloured floral and leafy sprays, the exterior with simple alternating green and blue motifs, slight rim chips

Lot Essay
The Hakki-Bey catalogue interestingly notes that in 1906 there was a certain amount of gilding on the surface. Today only the slightest trace of this remains. See also the note to lot 364.
