An English delft polychrome pierced circular basket Circa 1760, probably Liverpool
The interior painted in the Fazackerly palette with a bunch of grapes, fruit, trailing flowers and leaves within a pierced border of interlocking circles outlined in blue, the exterior similarly edged in blue and with three trailing flowering branches, on a short spreading foot (small area of restoration to the exterior, some minute flaking to rim)
9 1/8 in. (23.2 cm.) diam.
