A pair of English pearlware dated documentary circular plaques
1792, inscribed Spring and Winter and signed Richard Deavanport and Deavanport
Each moulded with a three-quarter length allegorical female figure, classically draped, each resting their head on their arm, emblematic of Spring and Winter, within stepped self-moulded frames suspended from ribbons, enriched in a bright palette (some rubbing and flaking to the enamels)
