A Vauxhall globular teapot and cover
Circa 1760, Nicholas Crisp's factory
Printed in puce and painted to one side with a vignette of a couple before buildings in landscape and the other with a couple and another figure on an island, within scroll cartouches, the cover with a vignette of a shepherd and shepherdess (small chip to the rim of the cover, minor chipping to tip of spout, some scratches)
4¾ in. (12 cm.) high
