A Worcester baluster teapot and cover
Circa 1758
With a reeded handle, fluted spout and bud finial, painted with the 'Valentine' pattern of a garlanded tree between billing doves perched above a quiver of arrows and an altar below a bird in flight, the reverse with a similar vignette, the cover with a similar pattern, below puce diaper and flower pattern panels edged with scrolls with pendant leaf ornament (chip to finial and spout with associated cracks, minor chip to flange of cover)
