Apparently no maker's mark, Leeuwarden, 1660
Octagonal, on a plain octagonal foot, the four sides engraved with four seasons, one side with coat-of-arms and one side with a man, each within scrolled oval, two sides engraved with fruit, two cast and pierced shaped handles with vacant cartouche, marked on base

Lot Essay

Although no maker's mark, this brandy bowl may have been made by Wijntje Berends van Aster, because of similarity of design, decoration and shape with a similar brandy bowl in lot 307.
