Troika Arrival

Karl Wenig (Venig) was born at Revel (Tallin). In 1884, he studied under F.A. Bruni at the Academy and travelled on a scholarship from 1853-62. Wenig taught at the Academy from 1862-1894. He is known as a painter of figurative works including themes from Shakespeare.
