A CONTINENTAL SILVER PLAQUE
German or Dutch, probably mid-17th century
Rectangular, repoussé and chased in high relief depicting an equestrian couple in a wooded landscape with their hunting retinue, with a woodsman and a fallen stag to one corner and hounds and a group of three woodsmen to the other corner, chased with commemorative date 1575, apparently unmarked
