Shaped rectangular on four pierced floral feet, the stand with matching floral border, with two pen troughs and set with two detachable cut-glass inkwells with silver neck mounts and covers, the central compartment with detachable chamberstick and conical extinguisher, marked on base, inkwell and wafer compartments, chamberstick, extinguisher neck mounts and nuts, the two inkwell covers unmarked
