the first is signed, inscribed and stamped with an artist's seal 'lafugie, Foo Tcheou' (lower left) and inscribed in Chinese (upper right); the second is signed 'lafugie' and stamped with an artist's seal (lower left)

The works were painted circa 1926 which was during a long travel (1925-1926) when Lea Lafugie visited India, Ceylon, Burma, Cambodia, Vietnam and China.
