Late 19/20th century, blue crossed swords and hyphen marks, incised M.113. and M.114, impressed 48 and 91, painted 36. and 68., respectively, an additional incised R. to the first, after models by Pollack
Each winged putto modelled standing beside a tree-stump, one holding a scroll in his right hand, inscribed in German, 'Marriage's Contract', a slipper in his left and a quiver of arrows at his feet; the second rubbing his wounded head and holding a covered basket, a quiver of arrows tied by a ribbon at his hip and the assaulting arrow beneath his foot, on a stepped circular base enriched in gilt
