A Khorassan bronze mirror
13th Century
of circular flattened form, the central roundel modelled in relief with two human-headed winged lionesses each flanking the central knop, within an epigraphic band -- 4½in. (10.8cm.) diam., (old wear), later wooden stand.

The inscription translated as :-
Might and lasting life, good fortune
and beauty, magnificence and praise,
alacrity and elevation, possession and
growth, power and rise, to its owner
forever
