Lot Essay

This sofa was originally designed for the Music Salon at the Mathildenhöhe Künstlerkolonie, Darmstadt, in 1905.
A similar sofa is in the permanent collection of the Museum Künstlerkolonie Darmstadt. A further example is in the Städtische Kunstsammlungen Darmstadt Museum.
