With nickel finished jewelled lever movement, the matt white dial with Arabic numerals, blued steel hands, the rectangular case with baguette-cut diamond-set ends, back secured by two screws, backwind, bullet-shaped diamond-set lugs, together with a platinum and diamond-set Cartier oval-link bracelet, dial signed Cartier, movement signed European Watch and Clock Co.

The baguette movement - measuring 6 mm. wide - was created in 1925. It was only possible to have such a small movement by arranging the escapement and wheels on two different levels. This launched a new geometric look and baguette-cut diamonds were often used to adorn the case.
