Further details
"Tutti-Frutti" or "fruit salad" - the name still known today throughout the world - is one of the most successful designs in Cartier's jewellery creations of the early 20th century. Greatly influenced by the East where colour dominates over form and feeling over rationality, this creative usage of coloured stones in their different shapes (spherical or leaf-shaped) and surfaces (smooth or engraved) give the jewels a full three-dimensional and luxurious image.
