Circa 1750, the dish marked for De Paeuw
The figure naturalistically modelled in relief by Lanz inspired by a Meissen example as a gentleman in 18th century attire with a tricorn hat, playing the flute, standing before a treetrunk on a shaped grassy plinth, the dish depicting a landscape scene with a fortune-teller flanked by two gentlemen
