This early 18th century tankard was engraved and presented to Prince Wilhelm by members of his household on the occasion of his marriage in 1881.
August, Count Eulenburg (1831-1912) was Hofmarschall to Prince Wilhelm. General Albert von Mischke (1830-1906) was Generaladjutant, Karl von Normann (1827-1888) was the Prince's private secretary and later Hofmarschall. Gotz, Count Seckendorff (1842-1910) was Hofmarschall to Prince William and later to Empress Frederick and von Pannwitz was Flëgeladjutant the Prince.
