According to company production data referred to by Rotoloni 738 Nikon I cameras were made from 1947-1949 between serial number 6091 and 609758. This camera was made in December 1948 as part of a batch serial numbered 609190 to 609310. The additional camera serial number noted on the inside of the camera back was also part of this batch.
