A blue and white 'kraak porselein' plate and a saucer dish
Wanli; the second with Chenghua six character mark, Kangxi
The plate finely painted to the centre with two deer on a grassy mound below pine and cranes in flight, surrounded by petal-shaped panels of a frog, butterfly, bird, duck and lotus, 20.5 cm. diam.; and a small saucer dish decorated with a scene of a gentleman climbing over a wall to meet a woman waiting for him , encircled by moulded sides embellished with flower stems, cracks, 16 cm. diam.
