A fine Dutch-decorated bowl
18th Century
Enamelled in Chinoiserie style with a continuous scene of various figures looking from a pavilion window on a riverbank at two long 'dragon' and 'phoenix' barges with various officials and their retinue, the interior with a phoenix looking up at a butterfly, surrounded below the rim by a trellis pattern border reserved with floral cartouches
20.5 cm. diam.
