each carved with a continuous scene of fishermen on a rocky shore, variously holding fish and squid, other figures gathering shells in baskets, set within tiered lacquered wood stands decorated with butterflies and ho-o birds amongst cloud scrolls -- 11 3/8in. (29cms) high overall, (glued to stands, some age cracks).
