A pair of Kakiemon style decagonal bowls
Edo Period, 18th century
with chocolate rims, painted and gilt with chrysanthemums amongst pierced rockwork in fenced gardens -- 5¼in. (13.4cms) wide, (couple of rim chips); and three polychrome foliate rimmed plates decorated with flowering riverside gardens -- 8½in. (21.5cms) diam, (couple of restored rim chips).
