A rare Steiff muzzle teddy bear
with golden mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs, hump, original leather muzzle and collar and button in ear --13½in. (34cm.) high, circa 1908 (bald patch on forehead, some thinning to left cheek, slight general wear, three pads recovered and other one with darned holes and stuffing shifted in arms)
