A Steiff centre-seam teddy bear
with golden mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs with felt pads and hump --24in. (61cm.) high, circa 1909 (large bald patch on inside left arm, top side of left ankle repaired, thinning to top of head, right arm, backs of legs and tips of limbs, pads damaged, stain on right side tip of muzzle and some stuffing shifted)
