A large powder blue glazed globular jar
19th century
with moulded pink and gilt bird handles, the foot moulded with bands of overlapping lotus petals, the body reserved in gilt with a central band of lotus sprays and scrolling foliage, the neck with bands of formal leaves and ruyi motifs, the interior glazed turquoise -- 12in. (30.5cms) high, (some restoration).
