A magnificent chasuble in two halves, embroidered with parrots amidst scrolling flowers on a crimson silk ground, the orphreys worked in a similar fashion on a smaller scale on an ivory ground - Southern Italy, possibly Sicilian, last third 17th century, silk ground worn
