A Derby green-ground teabowl and saucer
Circa 1790, puce crown, crossed batons and D marks, pattern 245, gilder's number 6
Painted in the manner of George Complin with a still life of fruit and berries, within a gilt fretted panel, the interior rim of the teabowl and well of the saucer gilt with a band of leaves (restored rim chip to teabowl, tiny chip to footrim of saucer, some scratches and light rubbing to gilding)
