Crossbanded overall, the shaped quarter-veneered top centred by an oval lacewood panel inlaid with a floral spray, above three long drawers and a shaped apron with pierced foliate mount, on gently splayed legs with scrolled foliate sabots, the handles replaced, the backboard with fragmentary depository label, possibly originally with a metal edge to the top
