Circular box, the independent cover and base engine-turned with shifted concentric reeded circles forming a pattern of peaked lozenges, the sides with reeded rims, the lid and base centred by a circular reserve applied with a foliate rosette on a frosted ground within beaded and fluted borders, the outer matted gold borders applied with circle of small beads and stylized acanthus on a matted band
