A fine French 18th-Century morocco-bound pasteboard, vellum and ivory three-draw telescope,
unsigned, but with the monogram AG beneath a crown on each end cap, the gilt-tooled morocco-bound body tube with green vellum end-pieces and ivory objective mount, the three draw tubes all covered in gilt-tooled green vellum with ivory eyepiece mount, and with two gilt-tooled morocco-covered card end caps, one with some of the interior paper lining missing to reveal printed paper with text in French (all lenses missing) -- 9½in. (24cm.) long (closed)
