An unusual 4½in. gauge live steam coal fired model of a De Witt Clinton style 0-2-2-0 locomotive 'Harrow 1861',
built by H. Du Pen, with riveted soft solder calked vertical centre tube boiler with copper bound wood lagging and fittings including water gauge, spring balance safety valve, clack valve, blower, main steam line with regulator to single cylinder small bore vertical engine, with centrally mounted valve chest, displacement lubricator, hand operated Stephenson's link reverse, counter balance crank shaft, disc flywheel and belt drive to leading axle. Further details include: steel chassis, water tank, hand feed pump and ash pan, finished in black, blue and polished brightwork -- 10¾ x 10¾in. (27.3 x 27.3cm.)
