Unused on cover / entire letter 1885 (8 May) 1½d. card to Germany, cancelled by superb strike of the first cork "FI" obliterator (Barnes Ob.1/85) with very fine "FALKLAND/ISLANDS" c.d.s. (Barnes F.1) alongside; minor corner faults but fine. Interesting message on reverse which mentions rounding Cape Horn. Also a similar card but dated 1884 (15 March) to England, re-addressed on arrival to Belfast, no Falkland Islands postal markings but cancelled on arrival (possibly carried privately); some small faults.
