Two Coalport dark-blue ground tapering vases
Both circa 1910, printed crowned marks in green, gilt 7707/246Sh, the other V7586/246
The first painted by H.P. Hughes with peaches and black grapes among leaves on a bed of earth, signed, within a gilt oval cartouche radiating gilt scrolls and foliage, the reverse with a diaper pattern scroll cartouche issuing leaves amongst similar lesser cartouches (faint hairline crack to rim), the other of similar form, printed and painted with a spray of flowers within a lobed cartouche
