Circa 1890
The body painted in white enamels with a putto amongst leaves and flowers before iron-red and gilt grasses, the reverse with a simple spray of leaves, with a gilt-metal berried laurel rim and scrolling foliate handles, the foot cast with scrolling leaves on a diaper-pattern ground, with a gilt-metal well with fittings for an oil lamp, adapted for electricity (light rubbing)
The vase 23 in. (58.5 cm.) high, with fittings 40 3/8 in. (102.6 cm.) high
