A Meissen group of a youth and companion
Circa 1900, blue crossed swords mark, incised P141, Pressnummer 16, painted 37. in iron-red
The youth wearing a pale-green coat and purple striped breeches, his companion in a claret bodice, white chemise and striped and flowered skirt, he is putting his arm around one shoulder and offering a posy as she stands with her back towards him fumbling the corner of her apron, a seated hound at their feet, on a tree stump mound moulded with white and gilt scrolls (some minor chipping to the posy and foliage)
