TWO NORTH SYRIAN TERRACOTTA CHARIOTS
Circa Early 2nd Millennium B.C.
Both hand-modelled with the wheels made separately and attached with modern joins, one red in color, with four wheels, quadrangular in shape, the high front incised with a grid, with two loops at the top as a rein guide; and one with two wheels, the very high front with incised horizontal lines, perforated at the lower end, the vehicle covered at the rear
