AN EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN CORE-FORMED GLASS AMPHORISKOS
Circa 6th-5th Century B.C.
Dark blue in color, the conical body with sloping shoulders, base-knob, cylindrical neck and inward-sloping rim-disk, with applied opaque yellow and turquoise marvered threads wound spirally on the body, tooled into a zig-zag pattern in the middle of the body, the yellow thread spiraling on the neck, yellow on the rim and edge of the base-knob, with twin dark blue handles
