The central medallion embossed with a facing head of Medusa, framed by a plain wire, a twisted wire and a flat flange, a single granule and a loop on either side, the open loop-in-loop chain with a ribbed cylindrical collar at each end, both terminating in a hook (one modern) designed to join the loops at the side of the medallion
