A PAIR OF 25-BORE FLINTLOCK DUELLLING PISTOLS

With reblued swamped octagonal sighted barrels with a gold line at the muzzle and breech and later signature on a gold-inlaid scroll, gold-lined touch-holes, finely engraved tangs, signed detented bevelled locks each with roller and stepped tail, figured walnut full stocks, plain flat-sided butts (one repaired), engraved iron mounts, trigger-guards with pineapple finial, set triggers, and original horn-tipped ramrods each with worm (in cleaned and polished condition, some minor surface pitting, one fore-end tip replaced), London proof marks
