The tuft with a central hollow red-lined crimped cogwheel cane surrounded by circles of canes in pale green, pale tuquoise and pink, pink and white and yellow, blue and pink, one cane inscribed SL 1848, within an outer circle of pink-lined tubular canes, the torsade with a white laminated corkscrew core entwined by two bright-blue threads beneath a mercury band, star-cut base
