Tasting note: one of the top '63s, and one of the best-ever Fonsecas. Most recently, medium-deep, richly colourered; cinnamon and cress fragrance; still sweet, fairly assertive, tall, shapely, lissome. Last tasted December 1998. Five Stars. Perfect now - 2015. M.B. Vintage Wine.
