Circa 1840
Comprising: three rectangular teacaddies gilt and painted in colours, the burgundy-red ground enhanced with birds and garlands, the rectangular covers depicting 17th century French gallant theatrical scenes, within a fitted wooden box inlaid with bone and brass motifs and lined with red velvet and inscribed Thé
The box 16 x 25 cm.
