A Berlin KPM porcelain two-handled gallant Weimar vase and cover
Late 19th century, marked with a sceptre in underglaze blue and a crowned orb above KPM in underglaze red
(Deckelvase) the neoclassical urn-shaped body gilt and painted in colours with a frontal scene of Boucher-type young lovers playing the flute, the reverse with a bunch of flowers, the lower part with a snake in relief above acanthus leaves, the shoulders with cabochons in relief, the circular pedestal base fluted, the domed cover with a pomegranate finial
