Original glazed-paper backed, blue-paper covered boards, the upper cover lettered in black and with publisher's device stamped in black, the spine lettered in black, top edge stained blue (board edges very lightly rubbed, spine lightly rubbed and creased). Provenance: Kurt Wolff Verlag archives (inkstamp on title 'Kurt Wolff Verlag , LEIPZIG , Kreuzstrasse 3b.' with inscription above 'Archiv', presumably dating from the period between 1915 and the company's move to Munich in 1919; bookplate on upper pastedown 'ARCHIVE , EXEMPLAR , [publisher's device] , KURT WOLFF VERLAG , MüNCHEN , LUISENSTRASSE 31', presumably dating from after 1919 and before the company's move to Berlin in 1933).

II, no. 10 (October 1915), before its appearance in the present, book form, issued by Kurt Wolff Verlag as numbers 22/23 of its 'Der jüngste Tag' series (in which Der Heizer had already appeared).
