A Chinese cinnabar lacquer square footed dish
17th/18th Century
carved with pine, willow and rockwork on riverbanks, before pavilions and a mountainous landscape emeging from cloud scrolls, within a wide band of blossoming flowers and leaves, raised on a shaped support -- 10 1/8in. (25.8cm.) diam., (restoration to the band); and a small pale celadon and russet jade hexagonal box and with domed cover -- 1 5/8in. (3.5cm.) diam.
